Q: I want to make sure I'm covered under my car warranty, do I have to go to the dealer to be covered for maintenance?
You do not have to go to the dealership to get your maintenance items covered. Some new car dealers have maintenance coverage for up to two years, and, if you are unsure, we can always check with your dealer to see if your vehicle still falls under the prepaid maintenance program.
Q: How often do I really need to have my oil changed?
You should have your oil changed every 3 to 5,000 miles to keep your car in the best condition possible.
Q: How much should I be paying for oil changes?
It really depends on what vehicle you are driving and whether it takes synthetic oil or not. When you bring your car in for service, one of our experienced technicians can determine the most affordable and best option for your vehicle.
Q: How do I know if my vehicle needs to be maintained with synthetic oil changes?
You should be able to find this information in the owner’s manual. However, if you cannot locate your owner’s manual, we would be more than happy to look up what type of oil your vehicle requires.
Q: Should I keep maintaining my car or buy a new one?
The best thing to do would be to bring the vehicle in so we can do a complete multi-point inspection to determine what the vehicle’s needs are. Then we can determine what would be more cost-effective: to fix the old vehicle or purchase a new one.
Q: How often should windshield wiper blades be replaced?
They should be replaced once a year or if they no longer clean the windshield (i.e. streaking the glass), whichever comes first.
Q: How much should a water pump cost?
This would depend on the quality of the parts that we choose and the type of vehicle that you have. We strive to give our customers the most affordable maintenance plan possible, and we can always provide you with options that are cost-effective.
